Yes. The Free plan is hard-capped, needs no credit card, and never produces a surprise bill. You get 100K program access a month, unlimited connections, custom tools and MCP, and 3 team members. When you reach a cap, usage pauses until the next month or until you upgrade.
With your own app you connect your own OAuth application or API keys and get the full 100K free program access a month. The Foundry-managed apps are a shared OAuth application we run so you can skip setup. They include 20K free program access a month, then bill at an extra $0.0002 per tool call on top of the base rate.
Scale is $29 a month and includes usage credit that resets every month with no rollover. Past the included free amounts, overage bills on the rate card. You can set spend caps so you never get a surprise bill.
On Free, usage pauses at the cap with no charge until the next month or until you upgrade. On Scale, you keep running and pay overage, and spend caps let you set a ceiling.
Premium tools are the few tools that use The Foundry-hosted credentials for paid third-party providers, such as web search, media generation, browser automation, and Google Maps. Premium prices include the provider's usage charge plus our 5% platform fee and vary by the provider's billing unit. If a tool uses your own provider credentials, only regular The Foundry tool-call pricing applies.
Add-ons can be usage-based charges or one-time charges. Some usage-based add-ons apply automatically based on how a call runs, such as direct execution outside a Session, proxy execution, or running in the sandbox. Others you enable for security or compliance, such as zero data retention and IP allowlisting. Advanced white-labeling is a one-time per-connection charge. BAA is a $0.0003-per-tool-call compliance add-on on Scale, and is included on Enterprise.
Most calls are just the base tool-call rate. Usage-based add-ons are small extras that apply only when a call actually uses that capability, so you never pay for one you are not using. BAA is a $0.0003-per-tool-call compliance add-on on Scale, and is included on Enterprise. For example, a call that runs in the sandbox adds a small sandbox amount, and a proxy-execute call is still one tool call at the base rate with a small proxy add-on on top. On Scale you can set spend caps for metered usage, so metered usage never goes past a ceiling you choose; one-time add-ons are separate.
Proxy execute is an escape hatch for calling an API endpoint we have not wrapped as a tool, or for advanced request options a standard tool cannot express. The Foundry still handles auth, so you never touch raw credentials. It is billed as one tool call at the base rate plus a small proxy add-on for the pass-through, not as two separate charges.
